Participants learn foundational business concepts and validate their venture ideas through structured market research:

Module 2: Financial Modeling & Business Planning
Teams develop comprehensive financial models and business plans demonstrating understanding of:
- Three-statement financial modeling (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)

- Growth projections and scenario analysis
- Burn rate and runway calculation
- Business entity selection and formation
Module 3: Legal, IP & NIL Frameworks
Understanding legal and regulatory frameworks essential for business operations:

- Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) rights and licensing

Module 6: Investor Readiness & Capital Formation
Final module preparing teams for professional fundraising and growth:

- Due diligence preparation and data room organization
- Securities regulations and compliance basics (Reg CF, Reg A+, intrastate offerings)
Program Completion & Post-Graduation Pathways
Participants who successfully complete all modules and demonstrate viable business fundamentals through measurable milestones earn CFL program completion recognition.
Completion Criteria
- Achievement of all six module assessment milestones
- Demonstration of validated customer demand through documented interactions
- Presentation of investor-ready business documentation
- Completion of legal and compliance framework requirements
Post-Program Opportunities
- Graduates with viable business concepts may qualify for introduction to StateCF.com’s registered funding portal as a post-program pathway (subject to independent review by StateCF.com)
